MULTIPLE CYLINDER CLEANING
Custom cleaning of multiple cylinders
Using a non-solvent system, the Multi Cylinder Cleaner cleans and rinses cylinders, representing a more economical yet sustainable cleaning solution. As the name says, multiple cylinders can be cleaned at once, leading to increased production and reduced downtime.
Sustainable and effective cleaning
The Multi-Cylinder Cleaner system is based on washing and rinsing of cylinders. The quick and gentle cleaning process leaves the cylinders clean and ready for immediate use right after cleaning. This cleaning process does not cause any wear and tear to the cylinder, even with daily cleaning.
With a standard Wash and Rinse system, you can clean 8-12 cylinders per hour. All cylinders are cleaned by using an eco-friendly cleaning liquid, then rinsed with water at high pressure and finally an air stream removes excess water.
The cylinders can be transported from the printing machine to the Multi-Cylinder Cleaner on a special designed trolley with a cylinder carriage. The carriage is loaded from the trolley into the loading station and automatically transported through the cleaning process.

How it works
The FW Multi-Cylinder Cleaner uses environmentally friendly cleaning solutions, which are suitable for cleaning of cylinders that use all types of ink.
The high-pressure rinse water is automatically led directly to the drain to a tank for re-use.
INLET
At the beginning of the cycle, the cylinders are placed on the trolley at the printing machine and driven to the washing unit. This trolley is then loaded into the loading station.
After the start button is pressed, cylinders are automatically loaded into the machine by the automatic conveyer system. The doors then close to separate the outside environment from the washing area.
WASHING
Washing stations can hold up to two cylinders. They each contain a pump, filter, brushes and tanks, depending on the function and configuration.When the first round of cylinders is being washed, additional cylinders can be loaded onto the machine’s loading station.
Cylinders finish their wash cycle after a preset period of time and then are automatically conveyed to the rinse stage of the cleaning process.
RINSING
The rinse cycle uses high-pressure rinse nozzles that move along the cylinders during the rinse.
As each cylinder trolley moves through the washing stages and the process continues until the loading station is empty and all cylinders have been conveyed automatically to the unloading station on the machine.
OUTLET
After the cleaning cycle ends, the cylinders are automatically transported to the unloading station by the conveyer system.
They are clean, dry and ready for immediate use.
OPTIMAL CYLINDER HANDLING
Combine your MCC with a logistic system
By combining the MCC with a logistic system, this creates a loop system. This loop system makes it possible to load a full job of 12 or more cylinders at one time, ensuring a continuous flow of cylinders throughout the cleaning process.
